So where do you fancy?Most of my work is concentrated in Yorkshire, the Peak District, the Lakes and North Wales. However, I am flexible with where I work and always keen to work in new locations.  My personal rock climbing has taken me to many, many locations over the UK and so I have quite a depth of knowledge of crags that could be suitable depending on your location and aims.
Whether you want to experience rock for the first time, get to grips with the skills and techniques on the rock required to take your climbing forward or have a specific climb in mind that you fancy doing I can advise on a suitable venue and approach to meet your needs. The following are popular courses, or if you feel that something more individually tailored would better suit your requirements, please get in touch. Rock Intro: 2 day course based at the crag. If you are a complete beginner we can cover basic skills such as fitting harnesses correctly, tying in to the rope, belaying and general equipment. If you already climb inside we can use the two days to translate your skills into the crag environment and get as much time on the rock as possible. Cost: £160 per person Intro to Trad: For climbers who can do all the basics and belay leaders confidently. Looking at the typical trad rack, how to place gear efficiently and effectively and construct good anchors/belays. Over the two days emphasis is placed on equipping you with the skills to head out and climb trad routes confidently on your own rather than just 'logging' routes. Cost: £160 per person Private bookings at the crag: Based around your particular aims and objectives. We can discuss your future goals comprehensively before the day/s so that I can structure my time with you to meet these as fully as possible. Cost: £110 per day for one person or £130 per day for two people Indoor walls: I can provide introduction to climbing courses, movement coaching and help you to structure your development as a climber.
